HC 250 C VC: The new 25-tonne crushing and compacting compactor from Hamm
The new Vibrating Crusher Drum (VC) allows crushing and compacting rocks and stone in one working step. This technology has significant advantages for construction companies. Processes on the construction site can be optimized through the use of VC vibratory compactors, as they reduce the amount of work and costs required for material preparation and transportation. For customers, this in turn means a reduction in time, costs and CO₂ emissions of up to 50% – depending on the application.
The HC 250 C VC compactor is capable of crushing and compacting mixed soils as well as stones such as basalt and granite in a single working cycle. Thanks to the 150 kW Deutz engine and reinforced components, the new compactors are well equipped to handle particularly tough conditions. The machines are supplied as standard with tires for stony terrain, a driver’s cab and the Easy Drive control concept.
Areas of application
The new VC compactors are suitable for a wide range of applications, including crushing and compacting geological material or handling rubble in landfills. They can also be used for road planning in tunneling and open pit mining, as well as for pre-crushing and loosening stone. This saves subsequent processes, such as layer milling, a lot of hard work.
